About Us

At Knights Fisheries, great fish and chips start with great ingredients. We use sustainably caught haddock from trusted suppliers, ensuring every fillet is fresh, flaky, and full of flavour. Our chips are made from the best in-season potatoes, like Sagitta and Maris Piper, for that perfect golden crisp outside and fluffy inside. Every order is cooked fresh, served with a smile by our dedicated staff.

The meals we had was excellent. My Husband had the small fish and chips with peas and I had the Scampi and chips but shared the peas. The meals were fried to perfection and we will definitely go back to Knights Fisheries next time we visit Pontefract. The staff are friendly and accommodating. Highly recommended.

As I have recently started working in this area, I decided to have fish and chips. I got the small fish and chips. The fish says was quite reasonable and I would say it equals to medium size from other places I’ve eaten. Very nice crispy batter and beautiful chips. I also got the shawarma and chips. Generous amount of chicken meat and same good chips. I will say that this is one of the best fish and chips I’ve had. The staff is brilliant. Although I paid for the takeaway price, of staff allowed me to eat in and even brought the food to my table. Well done and keep it up.

Knight Fish and Chips delivers quality food every time. The Doner pitta stands out, fresh bread, generous filling, and balanced flavour. The Donna kebab tastes spot on, well cooked and satisfying. Service stays consistent, and the rest of the menu meets the same standard. A solid place for reliable food, and one I happily recommend.
